Shipping, Returns & Refund Policy

We gladly accept orders from several countries across the globe. Available product lines, shipping rates and fees may vary depending on the delivery address for your order.

DOMESTIC SHIPPING - INDIA

We ship to pin codes that are serviced by Bluedart. Shipping in India is free for orders above Rs 750. For orders below Rs 750, we levy a flat shipping rate of Rs 100. 

SHIPPING SERVICE AND DELIVERY PERIOD

We use Bluedart for shipping all our products across India. Our experience with them has been positive and they serve most corners of the country. All goods are dispatched within 1-3 working days of the confirmation of your order and payment. FedEx/Bluedart take ideally 1-4 days to deliver it to you from our warehouse in New Delhi after the goods have been dispatched. Delivery is deemed complete and title to the merchandise passes to you upon acceptance of shipment from the courier company. In case of any delay in shipping of goods we will inform you accordingly. Goods that are damaged or lost in transit are replaced completely free of cost as per our Returns & Refund Policy.

 

DELIVERY DATE CONFIRMATION

We commit to your order reaching you within 1-4 days after dispatch from our warehouse in New Delhi. However, please note that it is not possible for us to give you a guarantee for the delivery date as we have no control over unforeseen circumstances that may delay delivery after we have shipped the order. Do track your order directly on the "Track Your Order" page in the footer. You can use your order no. to track your shipment.

WRONG DELIVERY ADDRESS

We will not be responsible for wrong delivery due to incorrect and/or incomplete address given by the customer. We would request you to check your address in detail at the time of checkout. An incorrect address will incur a triple shipping cost as the package returns back to us and we then re-ship the same back to the corrected address. Prices and shipping policies may change without prior notice.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

We ship to the following countries: USA, United Arab Emirates, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, South Korea, Taiwan, Cambodia, Philippines, Vietnam, Japan, Brazil, Argentina, Bahrain and South Africa. 

SHIPPING INCREMENT

Shipping rates increase in increments of 0.5 kg/500 gms. You can estimate and view the total shipping charges on the checkout page.

VERY IMPORTANT

The prices reflected will include ONLY shipping and product price and is EXCLUSIVE of the customs & other duties. The necessary duties will have to be paid by the customer at the time of delivery. Please check the  “Customs, Duties and Taxes” section below for more information.

CUSTOMS, DUTIES, AND TAXES

You are responsible for assuring that the product can be lawfully imported to the destination country. The recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country. Orders that are shipped to countries outside of India may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country. The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to such import taxes, customs duties and fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for further information. When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates. Duties & Taxes for International orders are additional and need to be paid by the customer directly to the shipping company at the time of delivery. 

If you are sending a gift to someone and they refuse to accept the package, because they think it is being sent to them in error, then the package will be returned to us as undeliverable. By informing your gift recipient that they should expect a package you will help us ensure that they receive your gift. All import duties and taxes have to be paid by the recipient.

LIMITATIONS

For products shipped internationally, the products (and accompanying materials) may not be designed in accordance with destination country standards, specifications, and labeling requirements; you are responsible for ensuring that the product can be lawfully imported to the destination country. The recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country.

PRIVACY

Your privacy is important to us, and we know that you care about how information about your order is used and shared. We would like our international customers to be aware that cross-border shipments are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities. Also, we may provide certain order, shipment, and product information, such as titles, to our international carriers, and such information may be communicated by the carriers to customs authorities in order to facilitate customs clearance and comply with local laws.

RETURNS & REPLACEMENTS

If you return a product to us, you will be the exporter from the destination country. Title and risk of loss, transfer to us upon receipt at our Company’s registered address of communication.

Returns & Refund Policy

Before you return an Anand Prakash product, please take a moment to understand how our products are made. All our products are handcrafted by skilled craftsmen, resulting in each product being unique and slightly different from each other. Tool marks and slight imperfections are part of the process and evidence of hand working, polishing and coating.  As in the old days, all sharp edges are hand filed or sanded, polished and coated with a special protective layer.

At Anand Prakash we stand behind the quality of our products and we will replace the product free of cost if you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason. Please read below our Refund & Return policies before you return any item.

The following will give you important information and guidelines about your rights and obligations as our customer, concerning any purchase you make through us unless specifically stated otherwise on our product pages.

CONDITIONS FOR RETURN

Our shipments are carefully inspected before leaving our warehouse, but if you are not satisfied with your order, we will accept returns of the goods purchased subject to terms and conditions mentioned below:

  •   Customer will have to inform us of his/her intention to return the product within 3 days of receipt of the goods at       his/her destination.
  •   Returns, if any have to be made within 7 days of receiving the goods.
  •   Goods ordered if not in stock and those that cannot be exchanged for a similar product will be refunded.
  •   If a customer wants to return the product because he/she doesn’t like it or feels the product doesn’t match his/her expectations, the customer will have to send the product back in its original packing and in an unused condition to us and bear the return shipping cost, on receiving it we will initiate a refund for the customer.
  •   If there are genuine quality issues regarding the product.
  •   If the product has been damaged in transit and delivery not accepted.
  •   If the order could not be shipped within the specified timeline.
  •   If the shipping address is not serviceable.
  •   Damaged goods that are used or manhandled will not be accepted as returns or refunded.

ITEM RECEIVED IN DAMAGED CONDITION/MANUFACTURING DEFECT/WRONG ITEM:

  • If you have received a damaged item or if the item you received was not the item you ordered or if it was misrepresented on our site, please contact us by email within 24 hours of your receipt of the product. It is important that you save all packing materials as well as the item itself. When you reach us, we'll give you instructions on how to proceed so that we may replace the item as quickly as possible.
  • If you want a replacement then we will ship a replacement item as early as possible with no extra shipping cost to you.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • We will not refund the custom duties, taxes, if applicable, or paid by you at time of receiving the goods.
  • At any point the refunds will not exceed the actual value of the goods.

 Note: Retail store purchases cannot be returned through our Online Store.

REFUNDS:

Once the Return has been approved, the refund will take a minimum of 15 days to be fulfilled as it usually takes about 1-7 days for us to receive the goods from the customer. On receipt of the goods, a confirmation will be sent to the customer on the status of the same and a refund initiated. The refund amount shall be credited to your credit card/debit card/internet banking account and the same shall be duly notified to you to your email address provided at the time of registration, after deducting shipping and applicable taxes, if any.

RETURNS & REFUNDS WILL NOT BE APPROVED IN THE FOLLOWING CASES:

  • Incorrect or out-dated delivery address.
  • After 2 failed delivery attempts by the courier company
  • Package refused by recipient.
  • Products returned in a used or damaged condition.
  • The product is returned beyond the required return date.
  • In case of minor design and color variations. With handmade paper, brass metal and teak wood products there will always be some variation in color, design & texture between products you see online and products you get in hand.  

INTERNATIONAL REFUNDS

The refunds will take a minimum of 30 days to be fulfilled as it usually takes about 1-15 days for us to receive the goods from the customer. On receipt of the goods, a confirmation will be sent to the customer on the status of the same and a refund initiated. The refund will be given for the full amount except the amount paid towards shipping and applicable taxes, if any. We will not refund the custom duties, taxes, if applicable, or paid by you at time of receiving the goods.

The refunds will be based on the conversion rate that your Credit/Debit Card company or your bank chooses to apply. The difference if any in the refund and amount charged is due to the fluctuation of the conversion rate. In some cases where an international credit card has been used the Credit Card Issuing Company levies a transaction charge for any charge/refund issued. The applicable charge is decided by the issuing bank. Anand Prakash Design Pvt Ltd would refund only the amount charged in INR as displayed on the website after deducting shipping and applicable taxes, if any. Anand Prakash Design Pvt Ltd/www.anandprakash.com is not responsible for any charge levied by the credit card Issuing bank for the foreign transaction.

PROCESS TO RETURN:

Please connect with our customer care via email on customercare@anandprakash.com . The customer care will validate the request by checking the timelines, product type, warranty terms, etc and shall take the request for refund or exchange. Pack the product properly and label the product with the order number, seller address and your address. Use a good courier service to send back the goods at your cost so that they do not get damaged in transit. Ensure that the AWB/tracking number is shared with Anand Prakash Design Pvt Ltd customer care by email once you have couriered the products. The order shall be cancelled once the seller receives the product in undamaged condition, there should be no scratches, no dents, no wear and tear, etc. Please ensure to pack the product properly before couriering it to us.
